This image is more of a lesson in darkroom work. A simple image of a white kitten was done against a white background. In the darkroom, when the correct exposure had been determined for printing, five separate exposures were made using a board with a hole in it to allow each of the areas of the cats head to be properly exposed on a single piece of paper. Since there was no exposure to any other part of the paper, everything else went totally white. |
