"Smokin" This image was made for Novatron advertising in three national magazines. A total of seven lights were used to create the lighting for the subject and the smoke effects. (see diagram) Adding colorful accent lights to the sides of a subject always adds an interesting touch of drama. Leather reflects just enough light without being overly reflective. A note about the head position. When you turn a subjects head away from the camera and then have them look back with their eyes, you are suggesting a bit of mischief or a secret that they are hiding. It's a powerful posing tool that adds impact and drama .
