| A number of years ago, I had the privilege of being able to photograph the Space Shuttle Discovery while it was being transported on top of the Boeing 747. A member of my family was in the Airforce and arranged with his commanding officer for me to have almost unlimited access to the shuttle. The lighting at night was mercury vapor (greenish color) and sodium vapor ( orange color). The moon was added to the image in the darkroom using a second negative. |
