"Ray" This is a simple and relaxed portrait of a gentleman made during one of my lighting seminars. Note the accent light on the side of the head and hat. Once again the head is tilted to add interest to the subject. The hands were posed so that the fingers pointed away rather than toward the camera to avoid distortion of the fingers. Loop lighting was used but with the main light in a lower than normal position to avoid a strong shadow on the forehead from the hat. A lower main light also adds a bit more light into the subjects eyes.
