This is one of my favorite images. It won a number of awards for me including the Kodak Elite award. There was no real plan for the image. The customer brought the stuffed dogs in case we could think of something to do with them. When I looked at their expressions I could see that they looked just like real dogs when they perk up when hearing a noise. Placing a real dog in the middle of the fakes just seemed perfect. Sort of like the scene in ET- The Extra Terrestrial when ET hides among the stuffed animals in a closet. |
