"A Moment Alone" I like to use this image to illustrate several points. First is lighting. This is 100% God provided light just after sun down. No flash or reflectors of any kind. Note the direction of light on the front of the gown and the faces. Note also that the dress of flowing gracefully behind the bride rather than in a spiral that is so common. The groom is positioned with his body more direct to the camera than the bride so that he will look larger. The brides arms are gently bent into a graceful curve. The grooms leg is not hidden behind the bride but is allowed to show so we can see his full height. Note also that his white shirt cuff is pulled down so that it shows.
