Hi!
This page is about my friend, Detective Derek Sanderson.
He lives and works in the state of Ohio. I have never met
him in person but we send each other e-mails sometimes.
You can read more about Derek below.
Derek is a detective which means
that he is a special type of officer who works to
find out who broke the law. He sent me a package
of safety books and other things from his Police
Department. He also sent some trading cards that
the Police Officers give to kids in his city. You
can see his picture on the trading card to the
left and also below.
NEWS FLASH
My friend Derek was honored in January of 2002 as
officer of the year. He has been a detective
since 1999 and an officer for nine years. He was
nominated for this honor by three other officers
in the department. One of the officers who
nominated Derek said that he is a “fine
example” for other officers. Derek has
worked on lots of different police cases
including a bank robbery.
