The year is going buy so quickly. Seems is was just Christmas and now the year is half gone and the holidays are only a few months away. Jennifer surprises us almost daily with her wide variety of interests. She loves pretty clothing, astronomy, the ocean and its creatures, classical music, 50's music (especially Buddy Holly), dolls, helicopters, and she is also quite a good marksman with her BB gun. She rarely misses the target and practices adult safety whenever she is shooting. If you have not yet visited Jennifer's area with your children, please do so. There are pictures to print out and color and many other pages of interest to young children. Jennifer is now a big second grader and loves school. Scott is still having difficulty getting to the posing book because of the huge number of e-mails that he answers each month. He never wants to neglect answering questions so it still might be a while on the new book. We will be traveling quite a bit this year. I recently spoke at the PPA National Convention in Las Vegas. I did a lot of photography along route 66 along the way. Over a hundred in fact. Enought to do a slide show! I recently received news that I had a print selected for the PPA Loan Collection. That gives me 10 print merits and I am very excited. Besides doing Pola-painting, keeping up with Jennifer and Scott and my love of carousels I collect Tweety Pie items. I have about 20 different Tweety's on my desk ranging from pencil cups and mouse pad to a desk clock and picture frame. I also have a number of stuffed Tweety's including one that says "twue luv." Scott gave me this one along with some chocolates to celebrate the night I did my first program. I recently took up a new collecting hobby. Coke stuff. My desk in addition to the Tweety stuff now has Coke items all over it. I'm going to need a bigger desk! The other thing I am crazy about is the music of Buddy Holly. I have an original 45 RPM of Peggy Sue along with several books, posters, a collectable Buddy Holly Coke bottle and for Christmas last year, Scott gave me a framed and matted photograph and gold record of our special Buddy Holly song, True Love Ways.
